The bag has then been "fulled" or "felted" in the washing machine to shrink and interlock the fibres so that the finished bag is tough and strong and virtually waterproof. His tail is made form ribbons in red, green, navy, turquoise, white and tartan. Bird is approx 13cm from beak to tail and approx 5cm tall. Colours and styles vary as each bird is unique. Quite big for a keyring; these birds also make lovely bag charms.
