The fabric remnants included are black wool gaberdine, puppy-tooth checked wool, cream wool with a woven stripe, and tan-coloured wool gaberdine. The pieces comprise a mixture of end pieces, cut sections of fabric which were never made up into a garment, and panels from costumes which were subsequently not used. The cream fabric is a large remainder piece, but has some small holes at intervals across it. None of the pieces have been worn as garments. .
