The sterling silver pendant has been textured and hammered and has a dark red garnet cabochon set in a silver bezel. Hallmarked by London Assay Office plus my maker's mark. The band is 6mm wide and 1mm thick. The central 'petal' is lightly hammered and the 'flower' a load of fine silver (999) scrap that I melted down and has a slight cratery look. I think it turned out quite nicely and I am more than pleased with it. It weighs 6.5 grammes and the size is 17.25mm internal diam. /7 USA/N/N1/2 UK/ 54 European. One of my fingers is a size 8 and it slips on comfortablly (tho' my hands are cold at the moment and no that green chilli is not my finger!) I reticulated 1mm thick silver for this pendant and added a stunning centrepiece of Labradorite which flashes irridescent blues as it moves, with a small Aquamarine cabochon below it and a roller printed bail. The pendant hangs from a necklace of Labradorite rondelles which also have great flash, with added silver donut beads between for added oomph! Fastens with a silver hook onto extension chain, from which hangs an upcycled labradorite cabochon set in silver. Length is 19 extending to 22. The pendant measures approx 35mm x 50mm wide (Reticulated silver is a process whereby the silver is heated and cleaned up to 10 times or more to bring a layer of fine silver to the surface which can then be manipulated with the torch to make ripples, craters etc. I just love this process even though it is very time consuming) (21.6grammes of silver in this necklace) London Hallmark my maker's mark. This is the first one. They all measure 2 1/2" diameter x 1 1/4" high x .9mm thick. The flower is about 1 3/4" diameter and has a fine silver centre which forms a rivet on the other side. Can be opened and closed gently for a better fit, slightly oval shape to sit on the wrist. All of the cuffs have been forged, hammered, textured and patinated and sealed with at least 5 coats of clear lacquer. Total length 20" This Jasper is top quality stone, hand cut and polished to a mirror finish. Graduating from approx 34mm x 13mm in the centre to 13mm x 18mm at the ends and approx 6mm thick.
