It includes quotations from the original novel, a spot the difference 'contest' (do you know how different the American and European robin are?), gardening tips from two of The Secret Garden's main characters (Mary Lennox & Dickon Sowerby), and a review of The Secret Garden, plus its 'sequels'. All packed into one concise little mini-zine! A Bit of Earth is printed on beautiful handmade lokta paper, embedded with hemp seeds, and includes a separate packet of poppy seeds for you to plant and grow. The pages are decorated with hand-doodled floral corners. Over the years the Machin definitive stamp has been issued in a rainbow of colours, and YOU WILL RECEIVE A SINGLE PIN-BACK BADGE, randomly selected by me, made from a Machin stamp in a shade of AQUA, BLUE, PURPLE, MAUVE or LAVENDER.
