These elegant chains would be equally perfect for Christmas or a birthday party or other occasion. Each box contains an average of 50 paper strips, which will create a chain of around 3.3 metres (11 feet) long. There are 3 colour variations of strips. Red and Yellow, Green and Blue, and Blue and Purple. This listing is for a mixture of all three colour variations. Firstly I hand decorated quality 160 gsm white paper on both sides with marbling inks. Once dry I cut into strips approximately 2 cm wide by 21 cm with a paper trimmer. I have drawn the outline of the dragon and printed it directly onto red card together with the Chinese text for 'Happy Chinese New Year'. The dragon has been embellished with 3 separate applications of foil. The first a gold coloured body, the second are copper coloured dots on the body and finally detail added to the head, feet and tail in red coloured foil. The dragon has been finished off with a small purple coloured gem for it's eye. The inside of the card has been lined with cream coloured paper and is left blank for your own message.
