Images from this time inspired this necklace I have upcycled the mounted stone section of an old necklace and added ribbon in a beautifully rich deep purple colour.I have decorated the ribbon by printing french text from an old postcard on it, dated 1906. I love this image of a tragic looking lady, her expression reminds me of the split second when you go out shopping and see your dream shoes, your tempted to buy them but you know you shouldnt. I have sandwiched this image between 2 layers of 2x2 glass and hand soldered around them with lead free silver solder, then added a 1 plated brooch bar to the back. I have added text saying 'Temptation'.The image itself has been embellished with a hint of red foil fon her lips, and a hint of blue foil on her eyes can be seen behind the ribbon, the ribbon has been dusted with black glitter. I have hand decorated the glass front with red and deep blue Swarovski rhinestones for a hint of extra glamour. This brooch is made from 2 peices of 2 glass which I have hand soldered together using lead free silver solder.The picture has been embellished with ab glitter and I have hand glued Swarovski rhinestones in shades of pink and a ghostly white the front of the glass for added glamour.
