The Nameless One

Has no immortal soul. Likes Milkshake. What more can I say?

Made from a chunky woolly hiking sock, this monster is cuddlier than first glance would have you believe. Approx 4"/10cm high. Button eyes are not suitable for small children, whatever the movies say. This is a collectible monster, not a toy.

What Would Dumbledore Do? A cross stitch

The title of this piece is all wrong, grammatically. Although I wouldn't put it past the great wizard to sit down with a bit of cross stitch in the middle of a crisis.

An inspirational thought, with bright flamingoes, to get you past those trying times - be it a dark wizard or an unexpected aunt. Just take a moment to breathe, and think to yourself: What would Dumbledore do?

Cross stitch on even-weave linen, framed in a 19x14cm (7x5) handpainted yellow/orange flamingo frame. I think Dumbledore would have appreciated this frame.

All Picky Miss stitchings are from original designs. I think them, I draw them, I stitch them. How's that for product traceability?

Daisy - a sock monster

Daisy likes to know how things work. No I mean, really know. Not happy with just casual observation, she really has to pull things apart and get inside them. She fixed this computer in just three weeks, and reinstalled it with Ubuntu! You go girl.

Gadget toolkit not included, this monster comes with no guarantee of future good behaviour. She'll put everything back the way she found it, though. Eventually.

Approx 9/23cm top to toe.

Thanks For Sharing - cross stitch sampler

As your mother said, If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Well now you don't have to grit your teeth and count to ten every time a co-worker unburdens themselves of some banal trivia, or reminds you of some work-stress that is really none of their business. Now you can just smile sweetly, and point. Stitched in traditional blues and reds, and framed in a simple pine frame, this happy sentiment will cheer you both.

Cross stitch on even-weave linen, framed in 7x5" (19x14cm) pine frame.

Tiny Tim - a sock monster

Small and tubby, he looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. Do not be fooled, this tyke is full of mischief. I called him for his photoshoot, but to no avail. Eventually found him in the fruit bowl, writing rude messages on the bananas.

But deep down, Tiny Tim just wants to be loved. Please love him.

Recycled Fabric Rainbow Coasters

Forever hunting for something to put your mug on? Or berating your other half/housemates/self for making mug-rings on the furniture? Despair ye not, put a rainbow on your coffee table.

Bright and beautiful fabric coasters, patched together with strips of recycled fabric, ribbon and wool scraps. A six piece rainbow comprising one coaster each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

Each coaster is approx. 4"/11cm square, and comprises three layers of material; stripy top layer, denim middle layer, and a bottom layer of hardwearing (upholstery offcuts) material in a matching colour. I cannot guarantee they're totally heat-proof, but they'll certainly form an effective barrier between your hot --insert beverage of choice-- and your table-top. They are also machine-washable, although I would recommend ironing on reverse side only, as some of the fabric scraps may just melt onto your iron. Urgh.

Pretty, fun, and ecologically sound - what's not to like?

Please be aware that as these are made from scraps, I can never make two exactly the same. You may not receive the exact same coasters as are shown in the photographs.
