Purple and Gold Wishing Pot

This wee pot stands just about 2" high and has been handmade by me using deep purple and gold clay which has been highlighted by gold trim. You are meant to make a wish then blow it inside and leave it for the fairies to make it come true. The wishing pot is supplied in its own little acrylic dome with a copy of the poetic instructions for use inside. An unusual gift, full of magic and something a little bit different and special for a birthday.

Green Man Brooch

In mythology the Green Man is the spirit of the woods and vegetation who dies in autumn and returns in the spring. Sometimes he is known as Jack in the Green, the Old Man of the Woods, Green George and many other things but the common theme is that of the cycle of life: birth, death and rebirth.

This unique Green Man brooch has been sculpted entirely in polymer clay using no moulds. I made a polymer clay cane for the leaves - there are 24 including those for his moustache and eyebrows! He is 5cm in diameter and is presented wrapped in tissue paper in a black card gift box.

Hedgehog and Butterfly Brooch

The hedgehog was worshipped by some cultures, in particular the ancient Egyptians to whom it symbolised reincarnation, probably because they misinterpreted the hedgehog's hibernation cycle as it dying in autumn then coming back to life in spring!

This wee brooch was made by me entirely in polymer clay and depicts the hedgehog being awakened by a butterfly whispering that spring has now arrived! The brooch measures 5.5 cm x 4cm and is supplied in a black card box as shown in the photographs.

Mauve Pink Heart Shaped Pendant

This pendant was made using an intricate millefiori polymer clay cane inserted into a silver tone heart-shaped bezel. The necklace was sanded after curing and buffed to a smooth sheen, then hung on a silver-plated heart-engraved bail threaded with toning ribbon. It has been finished off with sterling silver fasteners and a 5cm long sterling silver extension chain with a little heart end bead to continue the romantic theme!

The pendant itself measures 5cm in length x 3cm at its widest point and the ribbon length is roughly 51cm (about 20 inches). It is supplied in a black card box as shown in the photographs.

Strawberry Sewing Buttons Red Handmade 6

These buttons were handmade by me in polymer clay in a lovely rich shade of red and would look quite delicious sewn onto a child's cardigan or in any other craft project, such as scrap-booking or card making for example.

For an idea of the size, I have taken a photograph of one of the buttons next to a ruler. The buttons are hand or machine washable up to 40 deg. C and can be tumble dried on a cool setting. Dry-cleaning is not, however, recommended for polymer clay buttons.

The listing is for six buttons which are supplied sewn onto card with the care instructions printed on the reverse.

Dark Red Needle Felted Rose Brooch

This little rose has been entirely needlefelted by me and has a brooch pin securely attached and felted over on the reverse. The brooch is light and measures around 6.5 cm diameter (2.5") not including the leaf. It would be equally happy attached to a bag or hat as well as being worn on a jacket or coat.

Needle felting involves moulding dyed fleece into a firm compact shape by stabbing it hundreds of times with a barbed needle and no two items made thus are ever identical.
