      <title>The Elegant Swan -- Print 5x7</title>
<description>In Britain, the mute swan is the property of the crown.

This is one of those pieces of information which, most people know but are not sure why or what the reason is behind the Queen owning these swans.

Basically the mute swan has been a much prized bird for many years. It appears to have been given Royal status in the 12th century, and thereafter, if a privately owned swan escaped, it became the property of the crown.

I spent ages looking for just the right swan that conveyed beauty and grace. I hope you agree.

This illustration looks beautiful in a simple frame but would look stunning in a vintage antique frame too.
Why not collect the set of all four magical creatures.

This illustration is drawn with ink, scanned and digitally printed.

 The print measures 5&#8221; x 7&#8221; 12.7cm x 17.8cm

 Archival inks

 Archival matte heavyweight paper

Signed and dated by me (on the bottom front - excluded in this image) and shipped in a protective cello sleeve and hard backed sturdy packing.

<description>If you cast sheep&#8217;s eyes at someone, you look lovingly or with longing at them.

This ewe has a full coat of fluffy, floaty wool surrounding her loving face. Her golden glowing fleece is a nod to the golden winged Ram from Greek mythology sought after by Jason and his band of Argonauts.

This graceful ewe has been drawn in pen and ink .
It looks beautiful in a simple frame but would look magical in a vintage antique frame too.

      <title>The Brave Mouse -- Print 5x7</title>
<description>Forever brave, the humble, small mouse can befriend a lion and be mightier than the Sun.

The last in a collection of 4 pen and ink wildlife illustrations. This sweet little mouse peeps his head round the side of the frame, he&#8217;s a little shy but very friendly once you get to know him.

This illustration focuses on the brave mouse who, in one story freed a lion that was trapped in a net. It was also a mouse who became mightier than the sun, cloud, wind and mountain and married an Indian princess.

This charming gentleman has been drawn in pen and ink with a decorative frame surrounding it.

It looks beautiful in a simple frame but would look magical in a vintage antique frame too.
