I researched carefully how many leaves the shamrock needed (ok, I asked my twitter friends) and although people often wear 4 leaf clovers, 3 is authentic. I wanted a way to use them to store buttons and beads, so I've knitted pincushions to fit snugly to the top of the jars. Each pincushion is embellished with a contrasting flower made on my new flower loom. I will include a jar free of charge if you haven't fallen for the temptation of the desserts, but if you wish to use your own jar do please let me know and I will recalculate the shipping charge. The buttons are from my stash accumulated from my Gran and Great Aunts, so they're very much of the same era as Her Majesty!
