I am not sure how to describe the wonderful colours and hues in these beautiful earrings, but hope the camera managed to capture a little of their magic. Once I was happy with the result I texturized to reflect the light and then domed. Finally I added a few coats of clear varnish. Earrings that are sure to add a splash of colour and brighten our grey winter weather. Method.. I gave a patina bath to my cold forged sterling silver hoops and gently hammered for strength and a bit of texture. Now for the fun part. I dangled a bunch of bright jade gems onto my handmade head pins, that II torch balled, then oxidized before I painted with enamel in yummy colours before finally sealing.
