It is made with gorgeous shades of textured bright red glass, and has raindrop patterned clear glass for the window. It has a mauve line down the side and the black wheels are made from glass nuggets. This will make an absolutely lovely present especially for a child. It features a pair of entwined 'golden' wedding rings themselves enclosed in a ring and surrounded with a very sparkly, 'diamond cut' clear glass. I've added 6 'diamonds', in relief, round the edge. They are made from multi-faceted crystals (ex-chandelier). I've framed the ring with twisted wire to give a good finish. I am really pleased with this. I designed it just over a year ago as a commission for a wedding and that one was personalised with the bride / groom's name in silver beads round the top / bottom. This is of course individual, all my glass pieces are unique as I always use different colours and textures of glass. I've used some stripey glass with a reddish hint for his wings and body to give an effect of feathers, his tummy is shiny white and his eyes are pretty little red beads with hearts. He has pointy ears made of twisted wire and he is sitting on a branch waiting for his dinner. He would make a wonderful present for anyone and especially for someone who likes owls. The body is iridescent bright greeny blue with a lot of shimmer as it fitting for a dragonfly It has pretty flower beads for eyes and curly hair just for fun. This is an abstract design which I call jigsaw as that is what it looks like to me and describes how I have to fit the pieces together. It is a bejewelled jigsaw made from 16 pieces of individually shaped glass in gorgeous shades of turquoise, purple and blues with lots of different textures. In between the pieces there are 8 little shiny jewels in toning colours (glass nuggets)and there is a large central swirly white nugget as a focal point. This is just the third I have made of this design. It is very much a limited edition as at the centre is a multi-faceted clear glass crystal and I have only very few of these. I designed it especially to hold the crystal and have used very pretty textured, iridescent glass for the inner ring and pale and streaky turquoises, pinks for the outer to match the sheen of the iridescent glass and enhance the sparkle of the central crystal. A bright red helicopter, rescue colours. This is the just the 2nd helicopter I have made and is a brand new design. Someone asked if I made a helicopter. I said not yet. I do now. Really pleased with it. The body is made from two types / textures of very shiny bright red glass and the windows are clear, patterned glass. The rotor is black striped glass with a pretty blue bead in the centre and the wheels are little glass, metallic effect, beads. I have hung it from strong nylon thread rather than my usual silver chain so it gives a better effect of flying. It is 6 wide and 3.5 high. I absolutely love it. It is a new design and only the 2nd I have made. I have two other tree designs, Tree of Life and Golden Apple Tree but liked the idea of using shiny round nuggets for the leaves. So I drew a golden brown tree, in a landscape with its roots going down into the earth, then a turquoise-blue lake, green hills and streaky blue sky under the tree. The tree has very shiny green and red leaves (or they could be fruit or berries, whichever you prefer) and I have left the sky as spaces between them. I have framed it with a plain, clear glass border and added a twisted wire edging. It is 15cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain. This piece would make a super and very individual present. The picture is an abstract, patchwork in wonderful vibrant shades of reds, blues and green and comprises 32 individual triangles which are then enclosed in a narrow clear glass border. This is then framed with zinc came. This is 17cm square and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached via solder rings to the top of the picture. I am really pleased with this piece and the effect of the zinc frame and will make more as soon as I find time. This is quite a heavy piece (360g) and needs to be hung from a permanent type of hook not just a suction hook. It looks stunning hanging in the window where the colours catch the light but also makes a lovely wall hanging. Cleaning if it gets dusty is easy - just wash gently in warm soapy water and polish it with a soft duster. I normally make Tiffany copper foiled stained glass suncatchers. This is traditional leaded stained glass. At the centre is a painting of a deep pink coloured tulip in a blue background and the picture is enclosed in a leaded glass frame which uses textured clear and blue glass. This measures 6.5 ins wide x 8 ins high and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached to solder wire rings at the top corners. As leaded glass it is quite heavy (60g plus) so would need to be hung from a proper, permanent hook not just a suction hook. I hope to make more of this type of design in the future but I don't paint and my daughter who does (and painted this) is currently in Austrlaia so I am very eagerly awaiting her return ! It is entirely hand crafted and unique and very colourful. This is a prototype, the first I have made. It comprises a circular mirror tile which I have framed with a rainbow collection of lots of glass nuggets. The mirror and each of the nuggets has been individually copper foiled and then they were all soldered together. I absolutely love the lovely bright and cheerful result. I've added a chain for hanging which is attached to the mirror by two little soldered wire rings. It measures 9 inches in diameter and is reasonalby lightwieight for a mirror at 12 ozs. I have hung it with a reasonable length chain which can easily be shortened to suit you by removing a few links. I am selling this as a prototype, at a reduced price, because the mirror I used, as a trial piece, is not top quality. I have marked a shaded circle on the 5th photo in which there is a slight scratch on the mirror glass. I am sure this is not a problem as it is the rainbow border which is the main feature of this piece not the 'beauty' of the glass mirror. But I must obviously point out this little blemish. This is a duck, a Mallard almost certainly - or at least my interpretation of one. I am especially pleased with the lovely iridescent turquoise glass I have used for its back as its rippled texture looks like feathers. The head is cut from iridescent deep purple glass. The duck is sitting on a pool of blue water streaked with green and looks absolutely gorgeous hanging in the window and catching the light which makes it lovely colours shimmer. It would make a really special present. Birthday, Mother's Day or Easter ? The duck hangs by a lilttle silvery chain from a little ring which is securely soldered to the duck’s back. It is a gorgeous little boat in, greeny blue streaky glass. It has a little red flag and a red cabin which has clear sparkly textured windows, a bright turquoise sail which includes some very shiny iridescent glass and a striped white sail which is decorated with 3 little square beads, as flags, in bright colours to match the boat. It is 11.5cm high and 9cm wide and hangs from a little silvery chain securely attached to the top of the sail. This would make a wonderful present for anyone, and especially for someone who likes boats. I can guarantee they won’t have one like this as it is desgined and entirely handmade by me. This design is especially for Valentine or Mothers Day. It is a little shiny white flower made of 5 glass heart petals, 5 red nuggets and a 6th clear nugget attached 3-dimensionally in the centre. The petals are made from white streaky glass and the 5 little red glass nuggets in the centre catch the light. I have left holes between them to make the nuggets stand out and to give added interest. The flower is 9cm in diameter and hangs from a strong nylon thread which is securely attached to the top of the flower. This item is absolutely unique. It is one of my special designs - a sweet little, classic shape, motorhome made of clear textured and white streaky glass all soldered together, polished and ready to hang in the window. I have made the roof in purply pink glass to give it a little colour and the wheels are shiny purple nuggets to match . I have made a fun addition to this one - a driver in the form of a little silver cat bead sitting behind a steering wheel made of wire. We have a motorhome ourselves and a matching McLouis Tandy suncatcher is always stick up inside the windscreen as soon as we arrive where we are going. This motorhome suncatcher is hung from a chain which is securely attached to a little ring soldered into the top of the motorhome. Please though do not try driving with it hanging in the window as it is glass and therefore a little delicate. This is 11cm wide and 7cm high. This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. This is one of my very own designs and I think it is quite stunning and one of my very best. It is a big heart containing 2 smaller, bright red hearts and these are surrounded by different shades of glass in all the colours of the rainbow. I have also used some very pretty streaky 'blood red' and pale pink streaky glass at the bottom of the heart for added effect. Inside each of the two smaller hearts is a gorgeous multi-colour heart bead. I have used some lovely glass in this piece. The two red hearts are actually made of 4 different types of shiny red glass, each a slightly different colour and texture. The suncatcher looks absolutely gorgeous hanging up, in the window where it catches the light and the textures of the glass make it sparkle. It also looks lovely just hanging against a wall. It is a brand new design of a digger, bright yellow as I live in Staffordshire which is famous for JCB and its yellow diggers. It is made with gorgeous yellow glass, some streaky, a little stripy black glass for the back wheel and clear bubbly glass for the cabin window. The wheels are made from deep orange glass nuggets. Really pleased with this new desigh which I made to order and am adding it to my 'catalogue' . I have just got a new type of glass which is white, wonderfully streaked with blood red and I used this for the main part of the dress. The angel has iridescent clear, textured glass for her wings so they shine. Her shoes are little silver beads and she has a necklace of 3 red heart beads. She is a very loving angel and she looks very pretty hanging in the window or anywhere at all really. I couldn't find any sort of pattern, useful picture to use for my design when I was making the first but met a man walking along a canal path who was wearing a t-shirt with a great canal boat drawing on the front. I photographed him, traced the canal boat drawing and voila ! The canal boat is made from lovely purple and lavender shades with a gold line along the middle. It has red and green 'plants' in pots on the roof. It hangs from a silvery chain attached securely to either end of the top and looks wonderful hanging in the window. This is a giraffe (called her Sophie as my grandson George's favourite baby toy is a Sophie Giraffe). When designing it for a commission I quickly realised that you can't just have a giraffe 'body' on its own. As a full animal it would look just too gawky (did a full horse just once - never done another for this reason - but I do lots of horseheads) and also there is a big strength problem with all those thin bits - neck and legs. So, I found a picture of a happy looking giraffe, just neck upwards, traced it and then enclosed it in a medallion of blue, streaky and wavy glass as an African safari sky. The giraffe itself is made from my blotchiest giraffe coloured glass, lots of streaks and smudges and I've used a few plain bits on the face. Eyes are pretty white flower beads with yellow centres which make the giraffe smile and hopefully also anyone looking at it. This is 13cm x 11cm. I've framed it with twisted wire to make it strong and it hangs from two points on the top with a silvery chain. This item is absolutely unique. It is Noah's Ark complete with animals. There is a zebra, a giraffe and an elephant.. The hull of the ark is in sea colours of blue streaked with green. The cabin is made from raindrop glass (for obvious reasons !) and the roof is heavily textured amber and brown (to give the effect of wood). There are two little 'lamps' made from crystal glass beads hanging from the roof. This is just the 3rd I have made of this design and I am really pleased with it. The Noah's Ark is 12cm long and 9cm high. It hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely soldered to the roof of the ark. It looks super hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely and very unique present. Please note though this is made of glass and is not a toy. This flipflop suncatcher is fun. The sole is bright streaky pink, the straps streaky white and it has a lovely conrflower blue flower at the toe with petals made from 3 different types of blue glass. The star is shiny as it is made from heavily textured iridescent clear glass. The moon is made from white streaky glass and a little which is slightly pink, The sun is a streaky amber / red glass with bright red twinkly rays and is quite dramatic as befits a setting sun. The sky is made from very streaky blue glass to give a little bit of cloud effect. The suncatcher hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached at the top by soldered rings. I designed it for a commission and liked it so much this pretty Snowdrop ‘picture’ is now in my catalogue. The suncatcher is in the form of a snowdrop with one flower head plus bud with petals of lovely white and iridescent glass which shines with hints of palest green and pink. The leaves are pretty textured bright greens and round the flower are some lovely textures of clear glass, raindrop patterned and crackled like water. Round the picture I have formed a frame using twisted wire to give it the effect of a plaque. The suncatcher hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached at the top by a soldered ring. I love this snowdrop design. It looks absolutely stunning hanging up in the light where it shines and the different textures of glass give it life and sparkle.
