It is a very pretty little butterfly made of lovely shiny shades of red glass including some iridescent for an added shimmer. The butterfly' hangs from a little loop of nylon thread which is securely attached to the top of the head in the little wire curls there. This would make a really nice present. It looks really pretty all year round hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light. It It is 11 cms in diameter and one of my smaller range of butterflies hence its smaller price. It is one of my smaller designs, in the form of a mini caravan. It is 8cm high and 9cm wide. The window is clear iridescent, raindrop textured glass and the door and walls are made of streaky white and some opaque white glass. It has a bright red stripe across its roof with a matching swirly red nugget for a wheel. The caravan hangs from a strong nylon thread securely attached to a soldered wire ring on the top. This is a pretty little thing and would make a lovely present especially for someone who caravans. This item is absolutely unique. This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is a Chocolate Labrador, or Retriever whichever you personally prefer, which I have designed for a commission. To get this new design I found a picture of a beautiful Chocolate Lab and traced it. I have just made four, all different as the first 3 were for orders. You should be aware than an angel is for all year round and not just for Christmas This is a terracotta and white angel. I have just got a new type of glass which is white, wonderfully streaked with blood red and I used this for the main part of the dress. The angel has iridescent clear, textured glass for her wings so they shine. Her shoes are little silver beads and she has a necklace of 3 red heart beads. She is a very loving angel and she looks very pretty hanging in the window or anywhere at all really. This would make a super and unique present for someone you love at any time or for Valentine or Mothers Day. It is a cat, in lovely shades of ginger, in the shape of a ring. It is made from some beautiful very streaky deep marmalade and ginger glass which has lots of different shades. Its eyes are little green glass nuggets and I have surrounded it with blue, sky coloured glass. There is a border of twisted wire round the ring to strengthen it and finish it off neatly. I think it looks really lovely hanging in the window, catching the light. This would make a wonderful present and especially for any cat lover. It is a recent new design as I wanted a smaller dragonfly to add to my catalogue. This is a pretty pink dragonfly with pink wings and pink beads for a body and tail. The eyes are bright flower beads and there are wire curls on the head. The tail is slightly flexible (but please be gentle !) and is made from foil beads wired together. It is a brand new design of a digger, bright yellow as I live in Staffordshire which is famous for JCB and its yellow diggers. It is made with gorgeous yellow glass, some streaky, a little stripy black glass for the back wheel and clear bubbly glass for the cabin window. The wheels are made from deep orange glass nuggets. Really pleased with this new desigh which I made to order and am adding it to my 'catalogue' . I have made the roof in purply pink glass to give it a little colour and the wheels are shiny purple nuggets to match . I have made a fun addition to this one - a driver in the form of a little silver cat bead sitting behind a steering wheel made of wire. We have a motorhome ourselves and a matching McLouis Tandy suncatcher is always stick up inside the windscreen as soon as we arrive where we are going. This motorhome suncatcher is hung from a chain which is securely attached to a little ring soldered into the top of the motorhome. Please though do not try driving with it hanging in the window as it is glass and therefore a little delicate. This is 11cm wide and 7cm high. It is entirely hand crafted and unique and very colourful. This is a prototype, the first I have made. It comprises a circular mirror tile which I have framed with a rainbow collection of lots of glass nuggets. The mirror and each of the nuggets has been individually copper foiled and then they were all soldered together. I absolutely love the lovely bright and cheerful result. I've added a chain for hanging which is attached to the mirror by two little soldered wire rings. It measures 9 inches in diameter and is reasonalby lightwieight for a mirror at 12 ozs. I have hung it with a reasonable length chain which can easily be shortened to suit you by removing a few links. I am selling this as a prototype, at a reduced price, because the mirror I used, as a trial piece, is not top quality. I have marked a shaded circle on the 5th photo in which there is a slight scratch on the mirror glass. I am sure this is not a problem as it is the rainbow border which is the main feature of this piece not the 'beauty' of the glass mirror. But I must obviously point out this little blemish. I normally make Tiffany copper foiled stained glass suncatchers. This is traditional leaded stained glass. At the centre is a painting of a deep pink coloured tulip in a blue background and the picture is enclosed in a leaded glass frame which uses textured clear and blue glass. This measures 6.5 ins wide x 8 ins high and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached to solder wire rings at the top corners. As leaded glass it is quite heavy (60g plus) so would need to be hung from a proper, permanent hook not just a suction hook. I hope to make more of this type of design in the future but I don't paint and my daughter who does (and painted this) is currently in Austrlaia so I am very eagerly awaiting her return ! The photo shows the completed picture and also the frame without the painting so you can see how it is made. The picture is an abstract, patchwork in wonderful vibrant shades of reds, blues and green and comprises 32 individual triangles which are then enclosed in a narrow clear glass border. This is then framed with zinc came. This is 17cm square and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached via solder rings to the top of the picture. I am really pleased with this piece and the effect of the zinc frame and will make more as soon as I find time. This is quite a heavy piece (360g) and needs to be hung from a permanent type of hook not just a suction hook. It looks stunning hanging in the window where the colours catch the light but also makes a lovely wall hanging. Cleaning if it gets dusty is easy - just wash gently in warm soapy water and polish it with a soft duster. This is an original design and only the third I have made it. It features a pretty five-petal blue pansy with purple streaks, a splashed yellow glass nugget for a centre and 3 bright green leaves. The flower is enclosed in a heart shape with the surrounding glass in clear but prettily textured glass. It would make a lovely present as it is totally individual. I absolutely love it. It is a new design and only the 2nd I have made. I have two other tree designs, Tree of Life and Golden Apple Tree but liked the idea of using shiny round nuggets for the leaves. So I drew a golden brown tree, in a landscape with its roots going down into the earth, then a turquoise-blue lake, green hills and streaky blue sky under the tree. The tree has very shiny green and red leaves (or they could be fruit or berries, whichever you prefer) and I have left the sky as spaces between them. I have framed it with a plain, clear glass border and added a twisted wire edging. It is 15cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain. This piece would make a super and very individual present. It is a brand new piece which I designed and made to order and liked it so much I straight away made another, this one. A dinosaur, T Rex, tyrannosaurus Rex, made using 2 different shades and textures of red and of green glass. Its eyes are green flower beads and it has teeth and nose made of wire. A friendly dinosaur this one, not scary. I will undoubtedly be making other types of dinosaur, If you would prefer another type or this one in different colours then please contact me. The dinosaur is 5 inches wide. I designed it as a present for a dinosaur loving 3 year old. Please note though that this is an ornament made of glass and not a toy. It features a pair of entwined 'golden' wedding rings themselves enclosed in a ring and surrounded with a very sparkly, 'diamond cut' clear glass. I've added 6 'diamonds', in relief, round the edge. They are made from multi-faceted crystals (ex-chandelier). I've framed the ring with twisted wire to give a good finish. I am really pleased with this. I designed it just over a year ago as a commission for a wedding and that one was personalised with the bride / groom's name in silver beads round the top / bottom. This is of course individual, all my glass pieces are unique as I always use different colours and textures of glass. This would make a super and very unusual present for a wedding or a wedding anniversary - golden or diamond would be really appropriate. The ring is 5.25 inches in diameter and hangs from a silver chain secured attached to the top of the ring. It is a bus, a coach, Bertie, from the Thomas the Tank series. It has passengers in the form of little silvery cat beads. I designed this for my granddaughter and have now added it to my catalogue. Really pleased with this (and so is Izzy). . It is made with gorgeous shades of textured bright red glass, and has raindrop patterned clear glass for the window. It has a mauve line down the side and the black wheels are made from glass nuggets. This will make an absolutely lovely present especially for a child. I designed it for a commission and liked it so much this pretty Snowdrop ‘picture’ is now in my catalogue. The suncatcher is in the form of a snowdrop with one flower head plus bud with petals of lovely white and iridescent glass which shines with hints of palest green and pink. The leaves are pretty textured bright greens and round the flower are some lovely textures of clear glass, raindrop patterned and crackled like water. Round the picture I have formed a frame using twisted wire to give it the effect of a plaque. The suncatcher hangs from a little silver chain which is securely attached at the top by a soldered ring. I love this snowdrop design. It looks absolutely stunning hanging up in the light where it shines and the different textures of glass give it life and sparkle. It looks quite delicate having only white and green shades and will surely bring a beautiful hint of spring wherever it is hung. The suncatcher is oval, 6 inches high and 4 wide. I have made it as a ring of glass in traffic light colours, red, amber and green bordered by a circle of clear, gently textured glass and with streaky glass nuggets round the edge in colours to match the inner ring. The moon is made from white streaky glass and a little which is slightly pink, The sun is a streaky amber / red glass with bright red twinkly rays and is quite dramatic as befits a setting sun. I have used a 13cm round mirror and encircled it with 24 glass nuggets in all shades of the rainbow and a few extra as well. The mirror and each of the nuggets has been individually copper foiled and then they were all soldered together. I absolutely love the lovely bright and cheerful result. This is the 3rd I have made and I absolutely love it. When it has the sun behind it it casts all its rainbow colours beautifully. I have 'framed' it for strength with twisted wire. It hangs from a strong silvery chain which is attached to either side of the top by soldered rings. I would recommend that this , to safe needs to be hung from a proper hook rather than suction hooks as it is quite heavy. It comprises 37 pieces of individually cut glass in all colours of the rainbow and I've used a big variety of different textures to give it lots of movement. I am very pleased indeed with this piece which looks quite stunning hanging in the window. This item is absolutely unique. This is one of my very own designs and I think it is quite stunning and very special. It is a big heart containing 2 smaller, bright red hearts and these are surrounded by different shades of glass in all the colours of the rainbow. I have also used some very pretty streaky 'blood red' and deep pink streaky glass at the bottom of the heart for added effect. Inside each of the two smaller hearts is a gorgeous multi-colour heart bead. I have used some lovely glass in this piece. The bell clappers are plump shiny white hearts. The knot of the bow is a little white glass nugget. I made this with a subtle Jubilee theme in celebration of a 2012 wedding so the white glass bells are streaked with some lovely blue and red glass. Very patriotic and a perfect reminder that the wedding was in the year of the Diamond Jubilee. I love this. This is a giraffe (called her Sophie as my grandson George's favourite baby toy is a Sophie Giraffe). When designing it for a commission I quickly realised that you can't just have a giraffe 'body' on its own. As a full animal it would look just too gawky (did a full horse just once - never done another for this reason - but I do lots of horseheads) and also there is a big strength problem with all those thin bits - neck and legs. So, I found a picture of a happy looking giraffe, just neck upwards, traced it and then enclosed it in a medallion of blue, streaky and wavy glass as an African safari sky. The giraffe itself is made from my blotchiest giraffe coloured glass, lots of streaks and smudges and I've used a few plain bits on the face. Eyes are pretty white flower beads with yellow centres which make the giraffe smile and hopefully also anyone looking at it. This is 13cm x 11cm. I've framed it with twisted wire to make it strong and it hangs from two points on the top with a silvery chain. This item is absolutely unique. I have used lots of twisted wire for the bike frame, bike tread and handle bars, beads for pedals and handles and bright red shiny nuggets for wheel hubs and to join the wheels together. Each wheel has 8 triangles in different types and textures of clear glass to give them movement., some iridescent for added shine. The bicycle hangs from a strong plastic line and looks quite amazing hanging in the window. It is 6.5 wide and 5 high. I must point out that this is made of glass and wire is not a toy. I originally designed this for a commission and this is now the 3rd I have made, all different as are all my pieces. It is a 'picture' of three bright and cheerful beach huts on a golden sandy beach by a shimmering turquoise sea. It comprises 55 pieces of glass, all individually cut, ground, copper foiled and then fitted in place like a jigsaw and all soldered together into the square. I've used some lovely textured glass to give it movement and the sea is all iridescent glass to make it shimmer. I am delighted with this piece . It is quite stunning. It is designed to hang as a suncatcher in the window where it will catch the light and reflect its colours but also looks great on the wall as a picture.
