I only managed to get ahold of these 5 pearls, but boy am I glad I did! They really are absolutely fabulous! With the most beautiful lustre, these creamy white Freshwater Baroque pearls are of an amazing quality, which unfortunately the camera just couldn't do justice to. But, please do take my word for it, they are breath taking! You can see so many colors within the lustre; pinks, greens, purples, yellows etc. and the size of them is amazing! They average out at about 2cm x 1.5cm! I have wrapped the pearls together using Gold Fill wire. Then on either side of these, I have wrapped a Gold Vermeil pointed elipse, with the cutest Swooping Swallow on just one side, also made from Gold Vermeil and with fab detailing! The whole ensemble has then been suspended from some really delicate and dainty Gold Fill chain and closes with a GF bolt ring clasp. IT was something that seemed to almost create itself, as I went into making it with no set idea of what I was going to do. I just let the materials guide me as I went along. The frame of the heart is constructed with Sterling silver wire, which I manipulated into the twists, turns and spirals you see in the photos. I also hammered the frame to give it an interesting texture. I then wire wrapped the white freshwater Cornflake pearls and tiny seed pearls randomly throughout the frame, again using Sterling silver wire. The central rondelle is 6mm in size, with the outer ones decreasing in size down to a tiny 3.5mm. The size of the focal stacker in total, is 1 inch. The chain, which closes with one of my own hand forged hook and eye clasps, is 16.5 inches in length, including the rondelle stacker and the clasp. This pretty and really cute piece is very dainty and would suit anyone, but particularly either a bride or her bridesmaids perfectly!
