Folksy : GarWerth

Well.. I trained as a carpenter.

..which led me into the amazing world of TOOLS. Yup.

I also admit to a bit of an obsession with all kinds of materials. I don't care who knows: I'm curious and like to tinker.

The items I post up here will be explorations, one-offs, ideas I've wanted to explore and have a finished article.

A good majority of my materials are recycled: things tugged from skips, offcuts from commissions, or just redundant household stuff. I try to use existing resources and make something pretty...

Further pictures of my work can be seen at:

Thanks for your interest in my shop.

Spider Web Mosaic

For a change I didn't make a mirror. Instead, this is a decorative piece made from clear glass, black glass, and an old thesarus.

Each piece of glass bears a different section of text. For good measure, I stained the paper of a particularly sinister bit of text RED before making that mosaic piece..Moo ha ha ha haaaAAARRRRR

(260mm tall by 245mm wide, with a bit of wire on the back for hanging. Postage is free.)

Thanks for looking, please check out my other stuff!
