With a novelty coin slide down the back rest, the seat is elegant, comfortable and thought-provoking. This chaise longue was made as a commission for the Centre for Alternative Technology(CAT) in Wales. It was an amazing opportunity to create something truly unique for one of their recycling displays. It took us about 6 weeks in total to complete, from collecting all recycled wood from skips and scrap woodpiles to polishing and oiling. It was a labour of love which we would enjoy repeating.
