Everyone knows this little saying and, even if a bride isn't superstitious... she often likes to carry a token of all four items as good luck for a happy marriage. This bridal bag symbolises something old, and is made from vintage hand embrodiered tray cloth. It is 100% cotton, with white hand embroidery. It has a silver metal clasp with gorgeous crystal detail. The bag is lined in ivory raw silk. The unusual shape of this bag, is due to the design of the original embroidery, which I believe gives it an extra special feel. Also, I would recommend this is an occassional use bag to perserve the old embroidery as long as possible, and, although the bag is quite spacious, I wouldn't fill with heavy items because of the old embroidered fabric used.
