I used the George IV Diadem as my inspiration, and translated it into a little bit of sparkly bling that any of us could comfortably wear. I have shaped and planished the silver,then set the earrings with very sparkly 4mm cubic zirconia . When the cz's catch the light they sparkle with all the colours a diamond would. The color combination (although they are frequently used together) was in this case, inspired by a bracelet worn by Vanessa Paradis, the fact that my eyes were drawn away from Johnny Depp to Vanessas wrist, shows just how stunning the combination is. I have teamed some unpolished Lapis beads with some turquoise, blue jade and fiery carnelian.
