Ladies & Gentleman meet Monsieur Alphonse Poissonnier, Ringmaster extraordinaire, leader of the World Famous Cirque de Chaussettes. Monsieur Alphonse has been totally hand sewn from a new, clean, white sock. He wears a red felt fish tail coat, carefully embroidered in contrasting threads, with button detailing to the front & back. He wears three none matching pearl buttons down his chest. In his right paw he carries a hand sewn whip, made from felt & embroidery thread. Over his right ear he wears a hand sewn tophat with red trim. His rather suave looking face comprises of none matching button eyes, a tiny embroidered nose & a gorgeous black felt moustache. He wears hand stitched felt shoes. He measures approx 20cm from his bottom to the tip of his hat. Monsieur Alphonse is not suitable for the very young due to his beautiful buttons. Why would a cat swallow anything else... Long is totally hand sewn from a new clean stripy sock. He wears a lime green waistcoat with contrasting embroidery; pockets & button detailing to the back & front. He wears a kipper tie (literally!) with fishy bead eye & mouth detail at the end. He has a 'real' mouth in which the swordfish fits & a sweet pink tongue. Long has non matching button eyes & an embroidered nose. The swordfish is hand sewn from felt, it has button eyes & a pipe cleaner has been used inside for stability. He measures approx 30cm from his bottom to the tip of the swordfish tail. Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity to view something truly amazing! From the depths of the Baltic Sea comes the hauntingly beautiful part cat, part, fish, but totally bearded Purrsilla. Her existence raises many questions. How can she exist if cats don't like water? Is she the only one of her kind? Does she eat fish fingers? Purrsilla is totally hand sewn from new clean tights, a sea green one for her upper body and a black and gold fish scale design for her tail. Her hair and beard are made from beautiful thick strands of teal wool, finished off with little bits of shells. She has beautiful button eyes and a tiny embroidered nose. Around her waist she wears a button belt and she also has a couple of discreetly placed button shells on her chest! Pursilla measures approx 30cm in length. Purrsilla is not suitable for the very young due to her beautiful buttons. PLEASE NOTE the above item is for decorative & collectable purposes only and is not intended as a toy. The original Purrsilla is appeared in an exhibition at The Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester from 1st November 2011 until the 31st December. 2011 But I would love to make another.
