Check out my new lavender dolls. I hope you will agree that they look fab. The dolls are backed with poly cotton and each doll has a mushroom appliqued to on her back and a ribbon for hanging. They are stuffed with extra strong lavender de provence and non allergic polyester stuffing. You can hang your doll absolutely anywhere you please - bedroom, bathroom, car, wardrobe, kitchen and even on your Christmas tree (You may need more than one for this). Now I am imagining a tree completely covered in little babushkas! These dolls vary in size from approx 2 to 2.5 across and 4.5 to 5 tall. You will recieve one doll. I just love this take on my dolls. My cousin turned two recently and I wanted to make her something special so I thought What do 2 year old girls love? I came up with bags and dolls. So I made the first of these sets for her. They were such a hit she played with them all afternoon. Putting the dolls in and out and back in again, showing everyone. Even better was that they matched her dress (completely by accident!) which was pink ginham. I was thrilled and decided I had to make more. This is my first go at making a purse with a clip frame. It turned out ok but as with a lot of first attempts it isn't perfect so I am selling it at 50% off. The bobbles on the purse clip together tightly and it does pop open and you wont loose any coins etc...but there is just a little bit of pay (the c shaped metal parts at the top come apart slightly). Its really not that bad but I would not be happy selling it at full price. Handemade by me from pattern to completion. Materials - Brown polycotton with pink floral pattern (backed with interfacing for added durability) Cream cotton tape with bird, birdcage, ladybirds, flowers, clouds, trees..... This cowl is a lovely mustard colour and I have hand knitted it with a super chunky acrylic yarn. The cotton tape was hand appliqued and I have added a cream lace flower and a brass colour vintage button. Measures - 10.5" across (aprox 21 around) and 6" high This set of cowls are all one of a kind. All the buttons used are vintage and have signs of wear which i think just add to the pieces. Machine washable at 40c, dry flat. The other 4 in this set are in magenta, black, mustard meadow green or burnt orange. I hooked one handle over my arm so that I could hold the washing on the line while using my other hand to grab a peg from the bag. Then I thought I should make a clothespin bag that can hang from the clothes line or your arm. I have a few washing lines and flit from one to the other so the arm option is fab for me. Made using a gorgeous purple hessian cloth, a beautiful Liberty of London floral cotton and a super cute lace flower and button. There is no bottom seam as hessian was cut in one piece. The bag handle has a purple snap fastening in the middle so the strap can form two loops that hook over your clothes line. I have never seen a cushion quite like this! This will definitely get noticed and is the perfect gift for a lover of vintage flowers. The cushion is made from a gorgeous vintage M&S floral fabric in white and yellow. The top is hand crocheted and I have hand sewn this in to place. The cushion is filled with 100% anti allergic polyester stuffing and the opening is handstitched closed. All the components of this piece are machine washable 40 c, however I would recommend a low temperature delicate wash. I haven't tested this and the stuffing may bunch together and could lead to a mishapen cushion. The yarn is low pile and I have used it many time for lots of things from phone cases to hats. It has the look of cotton and doesn't bobble. The vintage fabric has been machine washed and smells lovely and fresh. This cushion is so soft and squidgy, my son says he wants to keep it! These are just so handy to have around and can be used to store all sorts of bits and bobs - yarn, scissors, cottons, fabric scraps, crochet projects, make up, toiletries, hair accessories, jewellery......... This bin is made from two coordinating blue and brown fabrics. One is a brown with blue dots polycotton and has been interfaced to make the bin stiff and keep its shape.
