I've handstitched lovely layers of supersoft felt in bright greens, embroidered with wee daisies and contrasting edges, all secured on a 1" brooch pin on the back.

Just about 7cms across, looks great on any lapel, bag, hairband, cardi, wristy-cuff thingy.... you name it.
