Stunning Half Polished Ammonite Keyring, set into silvertone triangle bail, curb chain and 2.5cm diameter split ring, to make this item function as a Keyring, or Handbag charm if you prefer.

This wonderful ammonite has been carefully drilled near the top of the ammnite, into which I have placed the large silvertone triangle bail.

The polished side of the ammonite has wonderful markings, with all the individual chamber on display, some of which have a crystaline structure. The back of the ammonite is in its natural rustic unpolished state.
The colours displayed in thsi ammonite half vary from deep chocolate brown colours to honey shades, with cream crystal like structures.

This is a real ammonite, over 180 Million years old, from the Jurassic period!

Considering its age, it is in great condition and is hard wearing, please review all the photos for full condition.

Approximate measurements: The ammonite itself measure approx 3.4cms by 2.7cms with a depth of approx 7mms at its widest points. The complete length of the keyring / handbag charm is approx 8.7cms.
