This denim lap quilt has been carefully made from recycled jeans that I have selected for their quality and colours, which have then been washed, ironed and cut into squares, before being machined on my trusty Bernina. I have used 100% cotton wadding and a beautifully soft blue and white checked fabric on the back of the quilt. This has to be the warmest quilt ever and measures approximately 50 x 50 inches square.
I have incorporated the most attractive back pockets to ensure that the quilt is original and added heart details in the style of Poppy Treffrey. Instead of traditional quilting, I have sewn cute little blue buttons on to the corners of the squares which are embellished with the name 'Ralph'. The quilt has been bound using denim and hand finished. Machine wash and line dry.
This quilt will last a lifetime and would make a lovely family heirloom or wedding present.
