Half wool and half acrylic, this gorgeous yarn caught my eye instantly. It was so wonderfully soft and had wonderful colours. I got it originally to make some baby clothes, but that idea soon faded, and so that lovely yarn got tucked away into my wool box.

I took it out recently, when I joined Raverly, and gave it a thought. I knew it had to be simple, but elegant, and I was fairly sure it was going to be a scarf, to show off all the cute stripes in different colours. So I ended up with what I call "mock cable", which is a simple rib pattern moved a step every now and then. I love it, and I hope you will as well.

The scarf is wonderfully soft and light, it measures 15 x 190 cm (6 x 76 in) and it doesn't have fringe. It just doesn't need any. :) The colour you may see as white on photos is actually lavender. Other colours include midnight blue, indigo and dark violet.

This scarf was made by me in my pet- and smoke-free home.
