Snowman bride and groom cake topper, Christmas decoration or oranment and a great gift for newly weds!

Both figures are made of solid birch, individually hand painted and then protected with water-based varnish. Each peg doll goes through multiple stages of sanding and painting to get a lovely smooth finish.

The Bride's veil is made from veil netting and she has a hand-sewn headband of vintage seed beads on satin ribbon. The Groom's bow tie is satin ribbon, tied in a bow tie bow and sewn in place to secure the knot. They are both about 9cm tall.

The nose-twigs glued but their twig arms are not fixed. The arms sit in a hole drilled well into the wooden body. This means they can be safely packed separately for transport, and you can rtake the twigs out after your celebration (before they get too brittle and snap) and replace them with a new twig snipped from the garden.

This peg doll ornament is made to order and will be ready to send out to you in 1-3 weeks. If you would like to specify a ribbon colour, please let me know - there are lots of colours available! You can have a traditional tie if you prefer, or I can paint tiny polka dots on your bow tie.

The wooden ornaments are sent out to you safely packed in a box, nestled in tissue paper.

These little figures are related to my winter snowpeople, who are snuggled in hats and scarves. I thought these might be fun for a winter wedding, or as a Christmas decoration for newly-weds.

I love the bride's little sparkling vintage beaded headband, which catches the light beautifully. The thought that something I have made might be adopted into people's treasured collection of Christmas decorations is lovely.

The twig arms are replaceable and I hope that people might look forward to a little winter twig harvest when the decorations come out; as part of the ritual of their holiday season.
