Item details
A humerous expression that sums up a moment of intense concentration and excitement for both rider and pony during a chukka as they pursue the ball. The words 'Your line' can often be heard shouted by players to a team-mate to tell him he, rather than an opponent, has the principal right of way to the ball.
The line of the ball, the imaginary line along which the ball travels, represents a right of way for the player following nearest that line.
My equestrian brush, pen and ink drawings were developed from illustrations that I did for the Royal Windsor Horse show catalogue and website in 2009 and 2010.
