The original of print was exhibited in Aye Inspired, the art show that was part of the Scottish independence campaign and toured Scotland in July 2014.
The chessmen were found on a beach in Lewis and are now treasured museum items. My print took four of the figures and made them speak the famous words of Ghandi. The original print was given by me to First Minister Alex Salmond on the day before the independence referendum and photos of the presentation featured in UK wide daily newspapers.
