A striking statement necklace with fiery orange-red beads and gold-plated curved spacers. Beautiful glass lampwork teardrop beads with gold, white and blue decorations dangle from a double layered necklace. Bright orange glass crackle beads and Swarovski fire opal bicone beads are flanked by small spacers and filigree bead caps. Tubular red and orange beads complete the necklace.

Rich in colour, suggestive of Aztec or Incan brightly coloured jewellery, this is an eye-catching necklace which would be great for a night out.

The parrot/lobster clasp is gold plated, as are all spacer beads.

I like eye-catching and unusual jewellery so wanted to use the beautiful lampwork teardrop beads in a special piece. I like the fire opal Swarovski crystals and thought that they matched well with the larger beads. Inspiration was from Aztec/Incan gold and orange chunky designs.
