Using plastic canvas as a base it is stitched with dark grey marl yarn and lined with a black printed cotton fabric. The construction is robust and provides a good protection for spectacles or sunglasses. As it is not bulky it can slide into a handbag, pocket or sit on a car shelf. The cotton lining is soft and will protect lenses. An ideal present for a man.

I was given a similar glasses case a while ago and it has proved so useful for storing my sunglasses in the car that I decided to develop the design further by adding a lining. It has given me the opportunity to use up small balls of knitting yarn left over from other projects. I have a large stash of bits!
