Hybridians are creatures that have evolved out of our discarded products and toys. Living in a post apocalyptic future, these curious critters spend their days living in the underground searching for clues about the past.

Ethel can often seem somewhat highly strung, however you can forgive her for behaving like this, she lost her head many years ago and has since been reduced to carrying it everywhere she goes. Which as you can imagine, is rather tiresome.

About Hybridians

All Hybridians are lovingly handcrafted out of wool felt and come with their very own storybook and family tree. All materials comply with current toy safety regulations but due to their handmade nature might not be suitable for very young children.

Do not machine wash, if collectable is dirty it is best to spot wash with a wet cloth.

This toy is made to order so please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. If you need the toy sooner please let me know and I'll try my best to get is for you when you need it!

The Hybridians were first dreamt into existence during the final year of my Product Design degree. After a life long obsession with soft toys, watching the excitement and joy they bring to children and adults a like, it was an ambition of mine to one day be the creator of that excitement and joy. When my final year arrived and with it my final project, where you had free reign to create products of your choice, I knew softies were the route I wanted to go down, but it was how to get there that was the challenge.

I wanted to somehow merge my love of products and soft toys into one and so I started researching in biological hybrids and mythical chimeras, then the idea came to me, what if products had a gene code and bred with each other like people? I wanted to create a completely new, original creature, descended from products, and the Hybridians were born!
