I love these, I know I say that a lot...But I really do.
I wanted to make a simple bedside table, elegant & beautifully crafted but ultimately minimalist in detail. I used a fumed oak veneer for the exterior cabinet, mitred on two of the top corners so that the grain runs through the sides & top. This helps frame the very thick oak drawer fronts, with a lovely deep radius. Its a simple detail, but it makes me smile...
The drawer boxes are solid oak & dovetailed.
It would only be fair that as with the AM05 Desk, I have named this TM11 after my boy, Tom & the year in which he was born.
