I adore hares and there elusive almost mystical qualities. When driving home one night along the country lanes we spotted a hare and it ran for a while alongside the car. We slowed down and it ran straight across in front of the car and the headlights just seemed to capture it's clear beauty. I even managed a photo of it on my phone.
I was inspired again and I painted Through the Shadows.
