Cornish Tin Mine Engine House Ruins

Here is a rare and hard to find detailed set of replica Cornish engine houses, in an typically advanced state of dilapidation, typical of the type found the length and breadth of Cornwall and Devon (especially Bodmin Moor) and would grace any N Gauge layout with a Westcountry theme. These pieces are based on a pair of ruined engine houses near Tintagel, North Cornwall, an area rich in history, both industrial and spiritual, a combination unique to the Cornish landscape.

The tall chimney stack ruin stands approximately 135 mm tall

Each piece has been sculpted with the finest detail in mind, and are cast in acrylic polymer, hand painted and have had the windows carefully fettled to allow the light through. I usually sell these as a set because such engine houses don't usually occur on their own

These Tin Mines come as a set, the first in a range of unique Westcountry railway and landscape themed N Gauge (1:148) buildings and railway architecture, including some extremely hard to find (in N-Gauge anyway ) 1950s council houses and double bore single track and triple bore tunnel portals
