Classic Venetian wedding cake bead, this style is known as the Dogaressa. Approx 18mm (1.8cm) They feature heavy 24k goldfoil and handpainted flowers in molten glass. Ribbons of white glass are layered on top.

I have many vintage pieces in my own personal collection with most of the goldfoil intact after 20 or more years, so treated with care they will endure well.

As with all handmade items no two can ever be identical, minute variations in pattern and size may occur.
