Here is a rag doll with a difference!

A really happy, funny clown....

My rag dolls are mostly given to little girls, but I think little boys should have a doll to cuddle, and to be able to do that without criticism.

This funny fella will make anyone, adult or child smile straight away.

He is made from cream cotton and stuffed with soft toy filling.

His face is felt applique with a broad smile, wide eyes and comedy red nose.

His all-in-one suit is made from a shiny, silky bright red fabric and closes at the back with a square press stud. On the front of the suit are three tiny, decorative, buttons - cream with white spots.

The wrists are gathered into elastic as are the bottoms of the legs, and it is trimmed at the neck with a white ruffle collar. This is decorated with a line of red cotton stitching.

He is wearing red felt booties (100% wool) finished in a multi-coloured button-hole stitch. These have high cuffs which can be worn turned up, or down. they are down in the photo.

His suit and shoes are removeable.

HIs funny hair is stitched from a mixed fibre yarn.

The clown is approximately 20 ins from bald head to toe.

The filling is HiLoft Polysester and conforms to BS5852, BS 1425, EN71

I made a clown like this for my 6 month old grandson, and he loves it. As soon as it fell out of its wrapping, the little boy grinned and laughed, and he always does when the clown is nearby.
He loves the silky feel of the onesie, and the clown is never far from his side.
Isnt it a shame that little boys rarely seem to have dolls to play with and cuddle, so maybe this can fill a gap for your little one.
He is also popular with his 3 year old sister who tends to carry the clown around by the foot!
