A unique handmade paper wreath created using hand-rolled vintage paper. This particular wreath is made from pages from a 1960s copy of Pride and Prejudice, where the edges are beautifully brown with age and creamy in the centre, creating a soft contrast as they are curled.

The back is finished with a more pages, with a loop of matching brown satin so you can hang it on your wall or door.

Each piece of paper is fixed to the base frame carefully, to create a light, graceful and unique decoration for your wall or your door.

The wreath is quite a sturdy item and should last for many years if treated carefully. It has a stiff cardboard sub-structure and the whole thing is created by clamping together layers with permanent tape, with additional staples.

A feather-type duster would be best for this piece as this would remove dust from the crannies but also be gentle on the tips of the paper, which are the most fragile part.

The wreath is not waterproof, so do not hang outdoors unless you're very sure it's not going to rain!

The wreath comes safely packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, which is handmade by me using repurposed cardboard.
