Around 11 inches (28cm) long, this lovely handknitted mermaid is made to my own pattern.

Her tail is in a gorgeous cotton mix yarn with little flecks of sea colours and sparkly ocean green flecks.

She wears a sea-themed plastic charm necklace, and has embroidered features.

Her hair is a mix of different blues and turquoises, and is securely stitched to her head at her centre parting and twice more around her head.
