This candlestick is made from a genuine, Victorian saucer. It's patterned with an elaborate ultramarine & rose design, with antique, handpainting in gold (gilt). The handmade candle cup is turned from reclaimed wood & sealed with beeswax.

(careful now…) The candlestick includes a metal safety ring. But to be extra safe, don't let the candle burn all the way down - stop it about 1.5cm (3/4 inch) from the ring. Keep lit candles away from overhanging combustible materials such as curtains & trailing plants. Keep out of drafts & never leave unattended.
