This is a trivet and oven mitt in one. It has special heat resistant wadding inside. They are made with Cath Kidston and Clarke and Clarke fabric. Theres also a macaroon fabric. I made the bias binding myself too. Lovely finish. I have 2 of each of the ones in the pictures and a macaroons one and a cherry one.x

I made trivets in christmas fabric and one day my friend picked it u and said it could be used to get hot things from the oven too. I thought about it and decided it needed a bit to put your hand in like an oven mitt.x
