Crowden Clough

Original landscape of Crowden Clough, part of The Edale Skyline, Peak District

It's a 14x14x0.7cm (6in) tile that can be used for decoration with the black stand included or put on the wall. It weights 380 grs

This tile was handmade, hand cut, hand painted with white slip before being biscuit fired. The image was then drawn in pencil, hand painted with coloured stains, glazed with transparent glazing and then fired in temperatures up to 1080°C. The colour will not peel or fade.

Because it is not factory made, each tile may contain little imperfections in shape, surface, and/or colour.

Made in the UK using only British materials.

As my husband is a fell racer, he took me for a walk to the Edale Skyline... We followed that fell race route - almost! - and I took some photos which are the ones I've painted in these tiles
