These are crochet in chocolate with black trim.the length is 20cm. The merino-possum yarn is super soft and so warm to wear they are fantastic and easy to wear. a great gift that is a little different with the fab possum wool.

Merino and Possum yarn comes from New Zealand, where the introduced possum is a huge pest destroying the native rainforests. The possums are culled and the fur plucked. Possum is extremely warm as it is a self insulating hollow fibre, the only other fibre like this is polar bear! The fibre is short so is blended with New Zealand merino to create this very luxurious yarn. It is very light and lovely to handle. This is designed as sock yarn so has a small nylon content for extra strength for sock heels and toes. It is very suitable and has a lovely drape for scarves, wraps and garments. Also super warming for hats, gloves and mittens. I just love using this very special yarn for my crochet and weaving and I'm sure you will too! In 50g balls in Black and Deep Chocolate. I have a quanity of yarn that I have bought back from a recent trip to my homeland, New Zealand.
