These canvas shoes have been individually decorated with napkin decoupage, carefully layering a collage of images from complementary paper napkins. I have purposefully decorated the two shoes differently for more impact but made them so that they match or reflect each other when seen and worn together.

A beautiful peacock head sits on the front of one shoe and the back of the other, with complementary patterning and peacock feather ‘eyes’ on other parts of both shoes.

The shoes are unusual and unique and, whilst I follow a design/pattern, no two pairs I produce will be the exactly the same.

The medium and varnish used give the shoes an almost plastic-feel finish (which softens nicely with wear) and which make the shoes relatively shower proof. I have made this pair in a child's size (Size C13, 31.5) but would still recommend that my shoes are treated like special/occasion/fashion shoes and not trainers/heavy duty plimsolls (especially avoiding playing ball games, deep puddles and immersing in water!) and are cleaned gently with only a damp cloth.

I normally use Slazenger plimsolls, in case you might wish to try on a pair in a Sports Shop to check how the sizing comes up.
