These cute little shoes are a result of a collaborative project between folksy sellers So Small Shoes and Mellybee. Both based in Cornwall Mellybee approached mother and daughter team earlier in the year to see if they would be interested in collaborating on a project.

Melanie says: 'I had seen the So small Shoes online and had thought it would be an interesting challenge to create a bespoke fabric for them- especially as each shoe is made entirely from fabric. I screen print all my own products so it seemed like the perfect fit. Thankfully Sarah and Lottie said yes and over the months we've been working to produce our first pair. The design is called 'Buzzing little bees' and features bees, flowers and honeycomb-perfect for the British summertime'.

Each pair are hand sewn from start to finish and are matched with an antique cream satin ribbon tie. The fabric is 100% natural cotton and the design has been screen printed by hand using eco-friendly and solvent free inks.
