Handmade Solid Oak Coffee Table with shelf. Made from green oak beams as shown in the pictures.

PLEASE NOTE The photos shows a very characteristic grain on a table. If this is not for you please look at the other items I sell to see the style of grain/wood you like and I will make your table, in this design, in your choice of grain/wood.

No assembly required, ready to place in your home. Comprising of five pieces of oak each with its own unique character that will split and age over time.

This item has no sharp edges or corners as its sanded with various grades of paper until the desired finish is achieved. Please note that these beams are not uniform in appearance and have individual knots and cracks just as it came from the tree.

Tables are made once an order is placed. As this is green oak, the table with develop further cracks and some colour change over time. The table in the photographs show a Natural Danish oil treated version of the table, other treatment options include medium and dark oak Danish Oil finish, clear varnish or untreated. If you have a specific requirement, please contact me to discuss your needs.

Everything has a purpose. Just by placing a DVD player on the shelf its purpose has become a TV stand. A customer wanted one of my tables a bit longer than the usual 800mm I make and asked for a shelf under. My 'inspiration' was need. A customer needed it so I built it. This may seem a simplistic view but do we not all have needs and wants. If you have a need, ask me. Hopefully I can make it for you.
