As a stationery designer since I graduated for the High Street, designing Christmas images has been my bread and butter.

I can draw 3 Kings, Father Christmas, Partridge in a pear tree, blindfolded and in my sleep, So Tickled Pink evolved out of a need to occasionally create something more feminine and for myself rather than for a manufacturer to end up who knows where!

We wanted a Christmas design, but it needed to be romantic, not too slushy so it appealed to the bride and the groom.... so most of the ideas i'd normally work with were out of the window!

So our winter snowflakes evolved. It has changed colour many times from the original greys (silver feel) we started with, but still keeps us busy as it's fun and neutral and wintery. Tom makes them and often complains that we use too many jewels on them, but we both like the jewels giving some winter sparkle!
