This Apple Bookend / Doorstop would make a pretty and quirky addition to any home and looks great propping up your treasured books, holding doors or just as a decorative piece.

The apple body has been made from a beautiful vintage heavy cotton fabric which features a lovely 50's floral print and is complimented by a checked wool apple stork and red chenille leaf. Both the stork and leaf contain wire to ensure the shape holds.

Colours may vary slightly from photographs.

To give it the weight needed it has been filled with sand and stuffed with toy stuffing.

Measures approximately 24cm from base to the stork tip.

The idea for this Apple Bookend came to me because I needed something to prop up my ever growing book collection which was getting so out of hand that I had to build an extra shelf. The apple idea was simply because I wanted something a bit different, and it has worked so well and I thought I’d make a few more…
