This purple shopper tote handbag with large cream crochet flower is functional and beautiful. Handmade from fabric remnants this unique shopper tote bag is fully lined and has a useful internal pocket.

Fabric: Purple wool fabric.
Base: Box shaped to create extra space internally. Strong cardboard base for extra strength.
Handles: Two handles securely sewn and reinforced for extra strength.
Flower: Cream crochet flower securely sewn on by machine (25cm/10” diameter).
Closure: Cream zip.
Lining: Fully lined with cream fabric.
Pocket: Secure zip up internal pocket.
Interfacing: Fully interfaced for extra strength.

Height – 30cm (12”)
Width at Top - 35cm (14”)
Width at Base – 27cm (10.5”)
Depth at Base – 9cm (3.5”)
Handles – 74cm (29”) long

My daughter was selected to have tea with the Duke of Edinburgh when he visited her school and this inspired me to make a bag using the royal purple wool fabric that I had found at a charity shop. The beautiful crochet flower comes from an antique shop on the beach in Lyme Regis.
