A gorgeous pale turquoise and peach brooch in hand dyed silk velvet on a background of handmade silk paper.
OHH so much preparatory work goes into these before I even start to stitch. Thats the best bit, stitching. Fabrics are combined and threads added, finally outlined in black to give it a 50s feel.
This one is about two and half by one and a half inches and has a vintage cotton back.
