I spotted this book in a secondhand shop in my home town, and fell in love with both the lovely wine red ribbed cover and the title, stamped in gold. How perfect for a pretty shoulder bag for an evening out! It's sure to be a talking point.

The lining is a very pretty and feminine abstract floral print in cream, grey, green and pink, chosen to tone with the cover and the chain.

The aged gilt chain brings out the gilt of the title. It is fully detachable for when you want a clutch rather than a shoulder bag. The closure is a magnetic clasp.

For trivia fans, Florence Marryat is the daughter of Frederick Marryat, of Mr Midshipman Easy fame!
