Approximately 100g/4oz, hand dyed by me, in my kitchen :)

Merino silk is a great fibre for spinning into singles, as the silk content gives it a good "Memory" for the twist. This 100g would make a lovely chunky scarf, or spun thinly a luxurious shawl!!! This is a fairly well blended top, but there are still some visible streaks of silk :)

The pictures show the top and the bottom of the fibre, so you get a good idea of the colour saturation.
