Hand Sewn Journal upcycled from a vintage book ‘Dickie’s Day’
Description
This fantastic One of a Kind journal has been made from the vintage children’s book, ‘Dickie’s Day’ by Christine Chaundler. This cover of this book is fabulous but sadly the book was falling apart so we rescued this beautiful cover to make a wonderful unique Journal! The spine of the book has been lovingly made into a matching bookmark for the notebook.
The journal has approximately 144 pages of blank white eco-friendly, Forestry Stewardship Council approved paper (288 sides). The notebook has been sewn with a double coptic stitch using a strong linen thread.
Please note that the covers of this notebook do show signs that the book has been well-used and much loved. We think this enhances its beauty and adds to its character!
